Yesterday I noticed a question that one of our Hubbers, SpotCoolStuff.com, posted over in the forums:
What’s your favorite hub that explains the HubPages concept to the uninitiated?
He was asking because he was putting together a blog post that included various ways that writers can make some money online and the places that they can find potential writing gigs. This morning I noticed that he finished up the post and had it up online for the world to see.
Here’s a quick look at some of what he wrote about HubPages:
HubPages is our favorite way for freelance blog writers to make money. Because you don’t have to apply to work there. You don’t have a boss and you can write about whatever you want. The way it works is: You sign up with HubPages and their partner affiliate programs. Then you write your posts (called “hubs”) and 60% of the sales and ad revenue they generate goes to you.
I want to shout-out a HUGE thanks to SpotCoolStuff for helping spread the word about what we’re doing here at HubPages. What an awesome blog post and a great way to let other potential writers know about all of the awesome stuff we’ve got going on. If anyone else ever sees a blog post that’s about HubPages let us know so that we can check it out. We can never read too many of these, that’s for sure.
Aw, shucks. Thanks for the thanks, Ryan. The world can always use more spread love.

Here is a positive article about HubPages from the UK Guardian Newspaper. This is a quality paper read by smart people!

I want to write; however, I’m technologically challenged to some degree. Your post offered some much needed info.
Thank you
