Hi there friends! It’s my great pleasure to announce that we have finished launching all the HubPages Network Sites we intend to create in the near future. As more Hubs are written and selected, it’s possible that some subjects will fill out enough to warrant their own sites, but that possibility is still a long way off. For now, here’s the complete list of our Network Sites:
- TatRing
- PetHelpful
- Bellatory
- Delishably
- AxleAddict
- CalorieBee
- FeltMagnet
- Dengarden
- LevelSkip
- ReelRundown
- Spinditty
- Exemplore
- ToughNickel
- KindredBond
- TurboFuture
- WanderWisdom
- LetterPile
- Holidappy
- Soapboxie
- SkyAboveUs
- HowTheyPlay
- HobbyLark
- Owlcation
- HealDove
- PairedLife
You can also visit our Editorial Policy Page to view a list of our Network Sites and a brief overview of our content policies at any time.
So, what’s next?
We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting news on what happens next. We are currently in the process of hiring and training more Curators and Editors in order to review the remainder of existing Hubs on HubPages ASAP. If your Hubs haven’t yet been chosen for any of the Network Sites, it’s likely they simply haven’t been reviewed, so we recommend sitting tight and hanging in there while we streamline this process. We are also developing a way to allow Hubbers to submit Hubs to us for consideration. We will share a better idea of the timeline involved when we know what to expect.
What can Hubbers do?
For now, you can help us out most by checking your Hubs for spelling and grammar issues, removing links that don’t add value to your readers, and removing all products that:
- Don’t directly relate to the topic of the Hub’s title
- Fail to include details on your personal experience with the item
- Don’t get mentioned in the text
- Your readers are likely to already own
What about new Hubs?
With all the excitement of the new sites and their success so far, we’ve noticed that many of you are feeling inspired to write new Hubs. We’re thrilled! For now, the process of creating new Hubs is business as usual. Simply compose your Hubs in the HubTool as you normally would and choose the HubPages topic that best fits your subject. Once our new Curators are fully trained and up to speed, they will be reviewing a combination of new and existing Hubs, and, if chosen, your Hubs will automatically be placed in the proper category on sites.
Thanks for your patience and support through this transitional process. It means the world to us. Happy Hubbing!
Great! We have total 25 new sites as at present. It is incredible. I am hoping to see that at least one of my hubs gets fit into these categories.
It’s all working! I’m making more money per month as a result of Hubs selected for the HubPages Network Sites. My aim was to write for money. Mission accomplished. It isn’t a fortune but there is a marked increase.
Sounds great, but why can’t we comment on any of the articles on these new sites? Doesn’t that counteract the involvement of the reader?
You can still comment on these Hubs normally unless the Hubber has set them to not allow comments.
How do my followers keep up with where they can read my work?
All your articles will still be listed on your profile, regardless of what site they show up on. 🙂
Hi, Christy.
Does “You can only submit one article every 60 days” mean that a writer cannot submit to other niche sites after submitting a hub to one niche site or there should only be one niche site that a hubber can submit an article to for the duration of 2 months? Also, is it allowed to submit a hub to another niche site immediately after getting a rejection message in less than week after sending it for review or should the hubber wait until after the 60-day prescribed period is over? Thank you.
Hi Leann,
You can only submit one per 60 days regardless of whether the article is accepted or not, and it does not matter which site you submit to. You will still only be able to submit one, even if you are trying to submit to a different site. We are looking at potentially decreasing that time period depending on the Editors’ workload, but we have not determined if we will be able to do so.
Hi, Christy.
Thank you for your reply.
I have been looking for the info about payment threshold, but can’t find it at the moment. Has it increased? I read before that the revenues should reach $50 before HubPages sends it to a hubber’s PayPal account. Please advise if such requirement has changed and if there’s a specific time (e.g., every 15th or 30th of each month) that payments should be received by qualified hubbers.
Thanks again.
The payment threshold is $50 and will be automatically issues on the 28th of the month after you’ve reached the payout limit. For example, if you reach $50 this month (October), you will be paid on November 28th.
Hi I’m actually a newbie here and I got passion for forex, can I write about it, as I’ve not seen any niche for it here. If there is where can I post my article to?!
Also the $50 treshold is that the minimum or maximum one can get per month?!
Forex is a restricted topic that we do not permit posting on.
