Last week, Jason announced in the Forums that we added a new column to the Stats section of My Account that shows when a Hub has last been updated.
This change follows a suggestion from Marisa Wright that we add the column, which will make it easier to tell when our Hubs might need a little love!
As we’ve outlined in our Learning Center guide on updating Hubs to help them see more traffic, Hubs that have been published for over a year, but have not been updated within the last year, can really benefit from a little spring cleaning. This column makes it easier for you to tell when it’s time to revisit your older Hubs, since it can be hard to remember when you’ve last added some touch-ups to your (perhaps hundreds of) Hubs.
So stop by My Account and have a look the “changed” column (to the far right) to see when your Hubs were last updated. You might discover, much to your surprise, that many of them have not been touched in ages.
If you do find those neglected Hubs, stop by our Learning Center guide, and follow our twelve easy steps to sprucing them up!
I have been doing this, especially as some of my hubs had outdated inforrmation, it seems to be helping. Thanks for the tips
I’ve not reached the one year milestone on hubpages. Nevertheless, many hubs are lying dusted. In the beginning I was only concerned about using original text and images. I did not consider about poll, quiz and video capsule. I’m thinking to update my hubs by adding new capsules.
I’m glad this modification surfaced. Thanks to Marisa Wright and also to you Simone for bringing this up. 😀
