We are happy to announce that TatRing is the next site to receive our brand-new disclaimer feature. This will differ slightly from the PetHelpful disclaimer, as it will be category-specific to cover as much YMYL content as possible and exclude benign content.

This disclaimer will only be visible to signed-in users until the official release date next Wednesday, November 21st, and can be individually disabled in the HubTool. This is a general disclaimer, meant to encompass the variety of topics on TatRing — we know that not all topics are YMYL, and so not every article will need such a feature. Therefore, alongside authors, editors will have the ability to turn them off accordingly over time.

We encourage the use of this tool in lieu of author-created, in-text disclaimers across our Network Site to promote cohesive and intelligible content across all articles. We hope to spread awareness and satisfy our community’s authors, readers and visitors. An example of said disclaimer, and what categories will be affected, can be seen below:

“This content is accurate and true to the best of the author’s knowledge and is not meant to substitute for formal and individualized advice from a qualified professional.”
