Fantastic video. I think what makes or breaks you is providing value to your connections. Too many times people get caught up in just sending messages and connect as fast as possible. Quality is better than quantity.

Here is the strategy I've applied:

Hey Ryan,

It was great meeting you at the show even if we had to wait until the show was officially over =p. Fantastic video and I love the title!

Thanks for showing some love to some of our great exhibitors including SouthWest Airlines, TechSmith and the guys from Cart Away who probably had more posts about their concrete mixer than any other single exhibitor. So I guess their little experience was a success.

Thank you for the kind words Angie, Alan and Des. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

Ryan-

Being even newer to the tech world and totally overwhelmed by Vegas and the bloggers extraordinaire I was definitely off my game at this conference. Usually people are talking about themselves so much that it was weird to me that they were not focused on that a blogworld expo. I think it would be really good for the future for it to be really clear from the organizers the philosophy behind the conference so that people know how to deal with other who are above their pay grade (so to speak). I kind of felt that the stars were real but for the rest of us to accomplish what they have done distant and unobtainable.

Ryan,

Nice work with the video, all my video was limited to the panels and Keynotes, and interactive Q and A sessions, which were awesome, but I totally missed out on the exhibit hall due to the agressive shooting schedule. The concretw cart-away guys were pretty rockin', and unusual gets attention from bloggers and readers.

Meeting the same people you did was fun, they were very accessible and kind to me, Nicholas 'the video guy' - at BlogWorld Expo 2008

Hey Ryan, so glad you stopped by and dropped this link for me! I'm loving it. I'm also making sure I wasn't in the background of your video anywhere- I'm a bit camera shy afterall.

Great job with the video, and covering the speakers. See you at Blog World next year!
